WHAT DOES TOXIN AND CRUELTY FREE MEAN?

Happy Monday, everyone! We have received customer feedback regarding confusion during the shopping process. You may shop online or at the supermarket, but a common theme is that there are products filled with vague terminology. Today, we will talk about what two of these terms mean: toxin free and cruelty-free.

TOXIN FREE

A product is considered toxin free if its ingredients do not cause harm or health hazard according to scientific research. The ingredients have been delicately selected and are not known to be in any "blacklist".

CRUELTY-FREE

In plain terms, cruelty-free verifies that a product was not tested on animals. In the United States, PETA is the main organization in charge of verifying this fact. A bunny logo with the text cruelty-free underneath is the authentication from PETA.

Have an amazing day!
